About Us
Udruga Poljoprivrednika " Zrno " Javoranj brings together people connected by a shared interest in agriculture, the land and the life of rural communities in Croatia.
Who we are
Udruga Poljoprivrednika " Zrno " Javoranj is a nonprofit association founded on the conviction that agriculture is not only an economic activity, but the foundation of our communities, traditions and food.
The association connects farmers, producers, young people interested in working the land, and everyone who cares about the future of the Croatian countryside. We work through cooperation, knowledge exchange and a shared commitment to responsible agriculture.
Our approach
We believe the best results come when the experience of older generations meets new knowledge and practical solutions. That is why we encourage open dialogue among members, learning together and mutual support.
- Cooperation instead of isolation – no farmer stands alone.
- Practical knowledge that can be applied on one's own farm.
- Respect for soil, water and natural resources.
- Equal inclusion of all members regardless of farm size.
Why our work matters
Croatian agriculture faces climate change, young people leaving the countryside, rising costs and a demanding market. The association exists to make information easier to reach for farmers, connect them with like-minded people, and contribute to stronger rural communities.
